› There is some outstanding fly fishing in Chiloé. Because many of the best locations are closely guarded secrets it is recommended that visitors employ the services of a professional guide. Apart from fly fishing, spinning and trolling techniques also work well. Enjoy the thrill of catching large rainbow and brown trout. Coho salmon may also be caught in March or April.
› The fishing season starts the second Friday of November and lasts until the first Sunday of May.
